So, today I am going to show you the very tasty and nutrient-rich recipe of Vazhaipoo Usili. Also, the recipe is a good combination for gravies, curd rice, and rasam rice. And also, vazhaipoo (banana flower or banana blossom) was a good source of iron, calcium, fiber, potassium, and vitamins A, B, and E. So, I'll give step-by-step instructions in the below post. Bread bajji

 Bread Bajji



Hello everyone I'm going to talk about the teatime evening snack today. It's bread pakora, also referred to as bread bajji. It's a well-known bajji in south India. It contains rice flour, besan (gram flour) and several spices. It has a good flavour and an appetizing appearance. The steps for preparing bread bajji are explained in this post.



Ingredients:

  • Besan flour (Gram flour)    -1/2  cup
  • Rice flour                    - 1/4 cup
  • Kashmiri chilli powder       - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida (Hing)           - 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda                  - 1/4tsp
  • Oil                            - required amount
  • Salt                           - 1 tsp
  • water                         - 1/4 cup


Instructions:

  • Firstly, cut the bread slices into the triangle shapes.
  • Take a bowl, add besan flour, rice flour, chilli powder, asafoetida, baking soda, salt and mix well, then add water little by little and make a thick batter consistency.


  • After that, heat a kadai and add oil, once the oil gets hot, take a bread slice and dip in besan flour batter and put into the heated oil and deep fry for medium flame.

  • Then serve with hot and enjoy with tea/coffee.
