So, today I am going to show you the very tasty and nutrient-rich recipe of Vazhaipoo Usili. Also, the recipe is a good combination for gravies, curd rice, and rasam rice. And also, vazhaipoo (banana flower or banana blossom) was a good source of iron, calcium, fiber, potassium, and vitamins A, B, and E. So, I'll give step-by-step instructions in the below post. Masala Kurkure

Hello, everyone! Today I'm going to share a delicious and crispy recipe with you. It's called kurkure. We've been eating this snack since we were kids, and we're still eating it now. This kurkure recipe was made of rice flour, besan flour, and some spices. It was very easy to do, so I'll give a recipe with step-by-step instructions and images in the blog below.


Ingredients:

  • Rice flour                        - 1 cup
  • Besan flour                      - 1/2 cup
  • Chaat masala                   - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder   - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder                - 1 tsp
  • Oil                                   - for deep fry
  • salt                                  - 1/2 tsp
  • water                               - 2 cup

Instructions:

  • Firstly, take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of rice flour and 1/2 cup besan flour, and mix together.

  • Then, heat a kadai with 2 cups of water, add 1/2 tsp of salt, and bring to a boil. Then, add the mixed flour little by little and stir well. then cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes on low heat.


  • After 2 minutes, let the mixture cool down. then kneaded the mixture into a soft dough.

  • Then, make kurkure shapes in the soft dough.

  • Heat the oil in a kadai for deep frying; once the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium and place the kurkure shapes in the oil to fry until a lite golden brown colour appears. 

  • Take a mixing bowl and add chaat masala, Kashmiri chilli powder, and cumin powder. and add fried kurkure, mix well.
