Beetroot poriyal is simple to make and healthy; it has numerous benefits and tastes better. We should have served it with gravies and sambar as a side dish, and mixing it with rice gives it a very nice flavor.


Ingredients: 

  • Beetroot             - 2 nos (grated)
  • Dry chilli           - 4 nos
  • Curry leaves      - Handful
  • Mustard seeds   - 1 tsp
  • Oil                     - 1tsp


Instructions:

  • Firstly, heat a kadai, add oil, and once the oil gets hot, add mustard seeds, dry chillies, and curry leaves.

  • Then, add the grated beetroot, salt, and 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. 


  • Finally, the beetroot poriyal is ready.
