So, today I am going to show you the very tasty and nutrient-rich recipe of Vazhaipoo Usili. Also, the recipe is a good combination for gravies, curd rice, and rasam rice. And also, vazhaipoo (banana flower or banana blossom) was a good source of iron, calcium, fiber, potassium, and vitamins A, B, and E. So, I'll give step-by-step instructions in the below post. Groundnut Chutney

Hello everyone, Today I'm going to show you how to make a high-protein, flavorful groundnut chutney. It is the best combination of idly, dosa, and vada. Even though peanuts contain a lot of fat, the majority of those lipids are considered to be "good fats." These fats truly assist in lowering cholesterol levels. So, I'll share the recipe for groundnut chutney step-by-step in the below post.


Ingredients:

  • Groundnut      - 1/2 cup
  • Dry chillies     - 5 nos
  • Tamarind       - small size
  • Asafoetida      - 1 tsp 
  • Mustard seeds   - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves     - Hand full
  • Oil             - 1 tsp
  • Salt            - as per taste
  • Water           - required amount


Instructions:

  • Heat a kadai, then add the groundnuts and cook until golden brown on a medium flame. and set aside to cool. 

  • Then heat the oil in the kadai; add the dry chillies and tamarind and sauté well; set aside to cool. 

  • After that, transfer everything to the mixer and add asafoetida, then blend to a smooth paste.

  • Then place the smooth paste in the bowl and add salt to taste.

  • Seasoning: heat a small pan, add oil, and once the oil gets hot, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Transfer the seasoning mixture into the groundnut chutney.

  • Finally, the delicious groundnut chutney is ready.
