Hello, everyone! I'm going to show you how to make aval dosa today. It is a healthy and tasty recipe. It's made of raw rice and flattened rice (ava). In the post below, I've included a detailed description of the aval dosa recipe, as well as an image and instructions.


Ingredients:

  • Aval (flattened rice)    - 1/2 cup
  • Raw rice                      - 1 cup
  • Salt                              - as per taste.

Instructions:

  • Firstly, Take 1 cup of raw rice, wash it for 2-3 minutes, and soak it for 3–4 hours.

  • Then take 1/2 cup of aval, wash it, add 1/4 cup of water to the aval, and soak for 10 minutes.

  • After soaking, place the raw rice and aval in the mixer jar and blend until smooth. 

  • Then, pour the batter into the mixing bowl, add salt, and ferment for 8 hours.

  • After fermenting, heat a dosa kadai and pour the aval dosa batter. Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes.




  • Finally, aval dosa is ready; enjoy it and serve with sambar or chutney.
